NOTE EXPANSION (izzati)

         It was Saturday morning and iwas on my way to catch a bus to the library.The bus-stop was deserted when i got there.I sat down on the bench to wait for the bus.
         Suddenly i heard a little cry.The sound was coming behind the bus-stop.As the crying become more incessant i realised that it was the cry of baby.Puzzled i look around and found that the cries were coming a little box behind the bus-stop.
          I peered into the box and i was shocked to see a baby there,bawling his eyes out.It was clad in a vestand diapers.For a momment i was stupefied ,wondering whatto do.There was no one around to help me so i decided to toke the baby home to my mother.
           I lifted the baby out of the box and wrapped him in my jacket.My mother was shocked to see me at the door step with a baby in my arms.I blurted out what happened.She immediately call the police to reported the abandoned baby.
            A police car arrived ten minute later. They took my statement and i brought them to the bus-stop to show them where i had found the baby.They took photograph and collect the box as evidence.
            The police constable told me that they would place with the Welfare Department pending futher investigation.I hope the baby's parent will be punished.
